Who are Neo and Morpheus?
Neo and Morpheus are two friends who know each other since Standard 8 (Section E, St. John's School, Marhauli, Varanasi) days, circa 1994. This weblog is the collaborative effort of these two friends.

What are their real names?
Of course, Neo and Morpheus are just nickys. Neo's real name is Ankit Jain and Morpheus' real name is Sayanendra Saran Sanyal. They named themselves Neo and Morpheus respectively sometimes after the Matrix released, just to have cool sounding names.

So theres no relation to the real ones.
Nope, none whatsoever, whether intentional or unintentional.

Some similarities, perhaps?
Nah, there are no similarities at all. In fact, the Neo-Morphues duo from the movie are no match for the Neo-Morphues duo from the blog(we'll call Ankit and Sayanendra AJ and SSS from now onw). These guys from the blog (ie, AJ and SSS) are a smarter duo than the movie guys, and this without an army of stuntmen risking their lives to make them look good. Wherever they (AJ and SSS) go, they steal the show!

What do you mean? Elaborate please...
Well, the guys from the movie did a lot of fancy stuff under the cover-up of technology, direction, slick camera-work, scorching background music and poor stuntmen putting their lives in danger. AJ and SSS can do the same stuff without the little bit of professional assistance.

e.g. They can fight karate better than the movie guys. And much faster too - in fact, our Neo and Morph (AJ and SSS) are so fast that their limb movement speed rises above ultrasonic and the limbs are hardly visible at times. However, they dont hit each other while practising together, they just make scary faces, scowl, say the customary "hu-ha"s, fling some extricate karate moves and stop after sometime. This is 'coz they have a policy of showcasing the full limit of their talent to the bad guys only, not each other.

Our Neo and Morphues (AJ and SSS) play dodge dodge with laser guns when they are bored. In comparison, in the Movie, Neo dodges a bullet, and that too in slow motion. bah!

In the movie, Neo and Morpheus discuss a lot of hi-funda stuff. Our Neo and Morpheus in fact discuss even higher-funda stuff than the guys from the movie, and this is attributed to their super-human depth of knowledge. Take a peep in through their skulls with a 'Hole'oscope - and prepare to get startled. There is a HUGE and endless pit of air out there between the ears, and that apparently holds all the knowledge.

Besides talking the talk, the duo (AJ and SSS) are quite stunning in walking the walk too. When they walk, some females stare in admiration, some cant utter a word, some get shivers, while the rest simply faint. The menfolk look up to them in awe.

wow, thats impressive. So the Neo and Morpheus from the blog are superhumans...
yes, of course! And the list of impressive endowments don't just end there. Some of the other things that they do better from the filmi ones are : - play gully cricket and bathroom sing in hindi. They are real life superheroes, from the old school.

What topics would you expect Neo and Morpheus to write on?
Neo (Ankit) can be expected to write on technolgy related matters mostly, while Morpheus (Sayanendra), being the jack of all trades master of none, can be expected to write on all matters under the sun. His favourite area of interest is sports, especially football (the one with the spherical ball, duhh!)

Are Neo and Morpheus Geeks?
Neo is a geek. Morpheus is not. In fact, Neo is so obsessed with computers, that if you ask him how many grams are there in a kg, he'll instinctively say '1024'. If you ask Morpheus the same question, he'll run a search on google and tell you it's 1000.

Some more details plz.....
Well, both are 21-25, Indian. They were in St.Johns School Marhauli Varanasi, from 1994 to 1999, and after that Neo stayed back at Varanasi to do his engineering while Morpheus went off to Calcutta to do his b.com. These days, Morpheus stays in Pune. Neo worked for 3 years in Bangalore and is currently pursuing MBA.

Something about the template.....
Well, t'was designed on 1152*864 resolution using notepad and cut/paste java scripts. Looks ok at 1024*768. Below that, looks awkward. Tested on IE 6 and Mozilla Forefox 0.9.2 (Mozilla/5.0).

Understood everything. But why is the blog called morphi'u's dot blogspot dot com? I mean, isnt morph'e'us spelt with an e?
Yes, it is. but Morpheus was already booked on blogger. So he went for Morphius with an I. Besides, he is Indian, so the 'I' probably has a patriotic streak in it. (though this bizarre explanation is highly unlikely)

That's ok, but where is Neo's name in the blog? Isnt this a collaborative effort?
Yes it is. But Neo joined the blog later when Morpheus suddenly asked him to get into the collaboration one fine day.They mutually decided to continue in the same name. Not an issue between them. They are cool guys.

Is there a photgraph of the two together?
Well, there is one. It was taken in 1998 or 1999. It can be found here. Neo aka AJ is sitting on the left of the table (right of the picture), with both hands fisted and touching the table. Morphues aka SSS is sitting on the right of the table (left of the picture)behind the black box and has a hand on his face. Lemme repeat once more, its an old old photo. Obviously these days the two are much more handsome. unfortunately, there's no recent photo of them together.
